Dear IT Professionals,
HKITPC has been the first local IT professional certification body for the IT professionals since 2007. The certification credentials, namely Certified Professional of IT (CPIT), are administrated through rigorous assessment based on skills, experience and knowledge of the individuals. In 2009 HKITPC launched three examination based title certifications: CPIT (Associate Project Manager, APM), CPIT (Information Security Officer, InfoSec), and CPIT (Business Analysis, BA). Individuals who pass the corresponding CPIT examinations with the required qualification are eligible to apply for the respective CPIT title accreditation.
In response to a wide-spread interest of the CPIT benefits, HKITPC is making a special offer of taking the examinations for free to the members of IT professional body in Hong Kong. The examination for the three CPIT titles is each made up of 120 multiple-choice questions, and a 3-hour test is to be taken in a designated site following the Self-Assessment schedule provided in this package. Furthermore, 20% discount (i.e. HK$1200) would apply against the standard certification fee of HK$1500, provided that application for such CPIT title accreditation is submitted to the HKITPC office within one month of notice of your pass result.
Although taking training course is not a mandatory prerequisite, it is highly recommended that candidates should consider attending the respective courses before attempting the corresponding examinations.
