Q2: How many IT professionals have been certified by certification scheme of HKITPC?

Answer: There are more than fifty CPITs. Please refer to "CPIT Members" in this web site for more information about them.

Q3: Is there any plan of releasing new certificates?

Answer: Yes. Three new certificates, CPIT(APM) for Associate Project Manager, CPIT(InfoSec) for Information Security Officer, CPIT(BA) for Business Analyst, are under development and planned to be ready for application at the end of year 2008 or early 2009.

Q4: What are the differences between the old certificates and the new ones?

Answer: The major differences are: (1) The old certificates are very senior level, while the three ones are middle to beginning level (2) The old ones require submission of essays and comprehensive interviews; while the three new ones are examination-based, no essays, no interviews.
